An online platform opens today, Friday, March 10 at 2:00 pm, through which parents and guardians can apply for students to participate in their admissions procedures Model school (PS) or Experimental School (CONVINCE).

OUR Platform will be open until Monday, March 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm.

Parents/guardians may fill in their mobile phone when applying to which they will receive informational text messages (SMS), two about the examination center and candidate code and the results of the Standards and one about the results of the Pilot Schools lottery.

This year, each student can apply to two Model Schools (Middle-High School) and up to one Experimental School (Kindergarten-Primary-Middle School-High School) at the same time. In the event of two Standards being selected, the order of preference is announced on the platform, and in the event of simultaneous success in the Standard and Experimental School, the selection must be announced later with a responsible statement from the parent/guardian.

As announced by the Ministry of Education, the date for the skills test for admission to standard schools is Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Greek and Mathematics. Students will be tested on items that have already been processed and known from their schooling and are not required to study specific material in preparation for participating in said test.

The date for the open draw for admission to the Experimental Schools and the allocation of a random Priority Number in the event of a tie in the Standard Schools is Friday, April 28, 2023.

The Model Schools and Experimental Schools admissions process will run in parallel with the Church Schools admissions process, however separate information will be provided for eligible students.

Finally, it should be noted that the Application System was developed by the Steering Committee of Model and Experimental Schools (DEPS) with the support of the Institute for Educational Policy (IEP), while the design, implementation, management, operation and application of the software for the electronic lottery of the above software , as well as the extraction software for each experimental school, is run by the Institute for Computing and Publishing (ITYE) – Diophantus.
