The authorities of the Olt district intervened on Tuesday evening with several crews in an accident on the European road 574, in the area of ​​Jitaru, News.ro reports. Two cars were hit, in which there were seven people, four men died. Two women and a man were taken to the hospital.

The cited source claims that as a result of the accident, both drivers and two other people died, and three people required medical assistance and were taken to the Slatina County Emergency Hospital.

The law enforcement officers are conducting investigations to establish all the circumstances of the event, and criminal proceedings have been opened under the articles of “intentional bodily harm” and “intentional murder.”
