OUR Elon Musk will be the focus of Oscar-winning Alex Gibney’s new documentary (“Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief”).

The film is already in production and Gibney officially announced the project on Monday, saying he is “very excited” to be working with Musk. “I am happy with this special team that I work with. We continue,” the director said.

The documentary is described as “a credible and thought-provoking study of the multi-billion dollar tech entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter.”

Musk reached the pinnacle of his career in late 2022 when he completed a $44 billion acquisition of Twitter, promising to improve the user experience on the platform by making some major changes.

“The time has come for a ‘stern’ portrait of Elon Musk, who is undoubtedly one of the most influential personalities of our time.

Recent documentaries on Musk include Elon Musk’s Crash Course from The New York Times on FX and Return to Space on Netflix.

Gibney’s filmography includes the Oscar-winning film Taxi to the Dark Side, as well as Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room and Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine.
