The data also show that young people in corporations are the most attentive to their mothers, arranging March 8 holidays for them in Italy or France (25%).

The solo vacation is a type of travel that has gained momentum since the pandemic, when tourists wanted secluded experiences where they could rediscover themselves, better understand who they are, and which, at the same time, help them overcome their comfort zone. Tourists say that this phenomenon will increase in 2023.

“We noticed that this year more and more women wanted to travel alone on Women’s Day. We can say that we have about 20% growth in this section compared to last year. A trip like this builds character and is also a fantastic way to make new friends. For those who try this experience for the first time, we recommend traveling in a small tour group,” said Anka Drugan, CEO of Nordis Travel.
