Nearly 50 cars were damaged in an accident caused by a truck on a highway near the town of Umhlanga in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province on Monday.

At the moment, there are no fatalities as a result of the accident, but the photos and videos of the cars destroyed in the accident made the road look like a car cemetery.

“Many people suffered minor injuries, while the pregnant driver suffered serious injuries,” the private ambulance service Emer-G-Med said in a statement, Reuters and Agerpres reported.

An eyewitness told Reuters he saw a truck driving down the highway and overturning cars stuck in traffic.

He said he helped the woman out of the damaged car, which was stuck under a pile of other vehicles.

“You couldn’t get out of the way of that truck… there was no way out,” he added.
