Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Russian PMK “Wagner”, said on Monday that his representative was denied access to the headquarters of the Russian “special military operation” in Ukraine, Reuters reports.

“On March 6, at 8 o’clock in the morning, the pass of my representative at the headquarters was canceled and he was not allowed to enter the headquarters,” Prigozhin said on Monday.

“We continue to crush the Ukrainian army in Bakhmut,” he added.

The announcement came after Prigozhin charged last weekend that his troops fighting to capture the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut were running out of ammunition and that if they were forced to retreat, the entire front would collapse.

Prigozhin announced through his press service that he had written to the leadership of the army that his men urgently needed ammunition.

“For now, we are trying to find out what the reason is: it is a simple delay or treason,” he said on Sunday.
