Australian Open quarterfinalist Donna also beat Lesya Tsurenko (98 WTA), Emma Navarro (134 WTA), Isalyn Bonaventure (96 WTA) and Lin Zhu (41 WTA) at the tournament in Mexico.
Thus, the Croatian added her fourth WTA title after those held in Kuala Lumpur (2014), Nottingham (2017) and Courmayeur (2021).
This year, Donna Vekic won 14 matches and recorded only two losses.
