
The Albanian flag was flown at half mast on Sunday in state and public institutions of the country, as by a government decision March 5 was declared a day of national mourning in Albania. Albania in memory of the victims of the railway accident in St. Tempe.

In many cities of the country, the townspeople lit candles in memory of those killed in Tempi. In Koritsa, the inhabitants of the city lit candles at the metropolitan church, the same thing happened in the city of Agia Saranda.
Hundreds of Greeks and Albanians, students, teachers and ordinary citizens came out to the courtyard of the community school Dervitsani to light a candle and pray for those who died in Tempi.
