PAOK, 5 points behind leaders AEK Athens – clean win with Ionikos

The team led by Rezvan Lucescu has not lost a single match since October 30, 2022, when they drew with leaders AEK Athens (0:2).

PAOK hosted Ionikos on Sunday evening, and the Romanian coach’s side decided the game from the first half.

In the first 45 minutes, the hosts scored 4 times, and in the second half, PAOK scored twice more.

Romao’s own goal (2 minutes) started the party at the Tumba Stadium and Yannis Constantelias made it 2-0 in the 24th minute.

After 4 minutes, Brandon Thomas also scored. Before the final whistle of the first half, Serbian Andrija Zivkovic increased the home team’s advantage (min. 30).

In the second half of the game, Rezvan Lucescu’s team scored twice thanks to Tomas Kedzori (min. 54) and Stefanos Tsimas (min. 90+1).

Thanks to this victory, PAOK moved two points closer to 3rd place Olympiakos and 5th to leaders AEK Athens.
