The Republic of Moldova will play in the first semi-final on May 9.
This year, 37 countries are participating in the 67th ESC competition. Of these, only 31 will compete in the semi-finals for 20 places in the Eurovision final. The remaining six, Ukraine – as the winner of the 2022 edition, along with the other so-called “Big 5” paying participating countries (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom) – are not competing in the semi-finals. , having passed direct qualification to the main final on May 13.
The slogan of the Liverpool edition is “United by music”.
The semi-finals will be held on May 9 and 11, before the grand final on May 13.
Romania will take part in the competition in the first part of the second semi-final, on May 11, and will be represented by Teodor Andrej with the song “DGT (Off and on)”.
