
The incidents occurred after midnight outside of AUTH, in Thessalonikisince the incidents took place on Egnatia Street.
Specifically, the time was 1:30 a.m., when a group of 30 unidentified persons with their faces covered came out of the ABC premises and threw home-made Molotov cocktails and fireworks at a platoon of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located at the Trade Gates.
The police responded with tear gas. Two more attacks followed in space before 2 am.
In total, the hooded men threw about 30 Molotov bottles, set fire to the plastic parapets and set up barricades, blocking traffic on Egnatia Street for about an hour.
There were no casualties, only a parked car was damaged, even firefighters were called to put out the fire from Molotov cocktails.
According to ERT, a musical event was taking place at the university at the time.
