A new message about the tragedy on Tempe released the OSE, saying that the head of the station of the Larisin shift and his boss were sent on vacation from the first moment.

At the same time, the Organization states that “it is extremely difficult to respond to detailed information of public opinion through the media”, promising, however, that something similar will happen in the near future.

“The Hellenic Railways Organization once again expresses its condolences and pain, promising to do everything possible to restore full and absolute justice regarding the causes of the tragic event that resulted in the death of so many people.

From the very first moment, the management and leaders of the Organization were at the scene of the accident and, with special teams, did everything possible to free passengers and general response to the accident on the ground, assisting all co-competent agencies.

Under the weight of such conditions and based on these priorities, it is extremely difficult for the Organization to respond to detailed information of public opinion through the media, which will happen in the subsequent period with maximum respect for the victims of the accident.

The OGS also reports that the shift supervisor of the Larisa station and his supervisor were sent on leave from the first moment in connection with the preliminary investigation into the causes and circumstances of the accident.
