Thessaloniki: Two young men arrested for robbing bus passengers

As part of a spontaneous procedure, two Greek youths were arrested who robbed their victims at or inside city bus stops in Thessaloniki.

At the same time, their third, foreign, accomplice is being sought, whose details have already been established.

Their action takes place in the areas of the municipality of Pavlos Mela from February 27 to March 3 and concerns the commission of four robberies against unsuspecting citizens.

In particular, the three perpetrators boarded city buses that ran on routes passing through the municipality of Pavlos Melas, or waited at bus stops.

Approaching their potential victims, using physical force, they removed gold chains with crosses from their necks, and in some cases, in order to keep the stolen goods with them, they did not hesitate to beat them.

A case has been initiated against them by members of the security department of Pavel Melas, which will be transferred to the competent prosecutor’s office.
