“It has been proven once again that the lack of personnel and modern logistics infrastructure in any organization, and especially in the field of transport, can have disastrous consequences. Fully aware of the foregoing and with a sense of responsibility for maintaining a high level of safety, we have repeatedly pointed out to all stakeholders the significant shortcomings in modern equipment and personnel that constantly interfere with air traffic. We will continue to fight to quickly implement the necessary upgrades to critical systems and recruit enough air traffic controllers to deal with the ever-increasing air traffic,” EEEKE notes in a statement and concludes:

“We hope that the latest unfortunate accident will serve as a springboard for those responsible for taking the necessary initiatives to prevent similar incidents in the future.”
