Andriy Rublev qualified for the ATP Finals in Dubai on Friday, and shortly after that performance he wanted to take another look at the war his country, Russia, is waging in Ukraine.
A year ago, at the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, Rublev sent a message of peace.
Over the past few months, Andriy has also made comments against the war in the neighboring country.
The reigning champion of Dubai, Rublev, wanted to have another message about the war in Ukraine.
“You can’t ignore it (the war) because it’s terrible. It’s crazy that so many normal people are suffering and dying. The only thing I hope for is that soon there will be peace in all countries,” he said Rublev on Friday in Dubai, quoted by News.ro.
