
Authorities raised the alarm after reports that a gas station in the Almiros Volos area was engulfed in flames.
According to taxydromos.gr, shortly before 12:00 pm, the Almiros Police Department, Drymonas Fire Department and EKAV were notified and immediately went to Crokio to check the situation.
Two fire trucks with four men arrived at the scene, where it was determined that there had been an explosion at the gas station. Judging by the first information, a 52-year-old man was wounded. The 52-year-old man was initially taken to the Almiros Medical Center, but was later transferred to the Volos hospital, as his condition was considered severe due to burns to his face, arms and legs.
