The 51-year-old citizen was arrested on the afternoon of Tuesday (February 28) in Chalandri after checking the information and after intensive searches carried out by the police of the Chalandri Security Department of the Attica Security Directorate, in respect of which three court decisions by which he was sentenced to prison sentences of four years and six months for fraud and embezzlement offenses were pending.

In particular, a 51-year-old man ordered goods in stores via the Internet, sent the seller a corresponding receipt, and then canceled the payment made online. Then, after the products were sent to him, he received them without actually paying the corresponding price.

In addition, as a result of the preliminary investigation of the above service, another case of fraud was identified. The detainee will be taken to the competent prosecutor’s office, and the investigation into his involvement in similar crimes continues.
