Dropping just one serve, Djokovic prevailed in two straight sets, 6-2, 6-3.
In the quarterfinals in Dubai, the world leader will meet the winner of the tournament, Hubert Gurkach (11 ATP) and Pavlo Kotov (138 ATP).
