Ciprian Chucu announced on Tuesday evening that he has resigned from the leadership of PNL Bucharest.
“Today I submitted my resignation from the post of president of the Bucharest PNL organization. The only reason I made this decision was time. In this context, Sector 6 needs me a lot more and I need time to deal with the many projects I have started. Some of them have already been completed and others are ongoing. To see them become a reality, I need to devote all my time and energy to the people of #Sectorul6.
I wish success to my colleagues in the Bucharest PNL organization, to my colleagues in the General Council, and I tell them that all our projects can be carried out with commitment and seriousness. From now on, there will be more administration for me, but even less politics,” Chuku wrote on Facebook.
Ciprian Čucu was elected president of PNL Bucharest on 24 July 2021, defeating Violeta Alexandra, who later left PNL to co-found Forța Dreptei with Ludovic Orbán.
