Noel Le Graeux will resign as president of the French Football Federation
A meeting of the FFF executive committee will be held on Tuesday.
Le Grae made the decision following an audit by the Ministry of Sports, during which his way of running the federation was called into question.
On January 11, he was suspended from his post, which he had held since 2011, after making controversial statements about Zinedine Zidane. Le Grae is also accused of allegedly sexist behavior.
At the age of 81, Le Grae would not want to retire, but he would be pushed to do so by his family and friends, writes News.ro.
