A batch of lemons from Turkey was withdrawn from sale in the Carrefour network due to exceeding the permissible values ​​of pesticide residues, News.ro reports. Products can be returned by customers to stores until March 17.

“We inform you that during the selection of some samples, an excess of the permissible values ​​of pesticide residues was found. As a result, it was decided to withdraw the following non-conforming batch of LĂMĀI – TURKEY, LOT: 75416,” the message reads.

it is about the Supplier ANDROS STIL SRL and LOT: 75416. It is ordered to remove the products from sale and return them to stores in the period from 24.02.2023 to 17.03.2023.

Considering that the health of consumers is of the utmost importance, we ask customers NOT to consume this product, the message also states.
