The second WTA racket Aryna Sabalenko was knocked out on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Dubai tournament by the ex-winner of Roland Garros-2021.

Arina Sabalenko was eliminated from Barbora Krejcikova at the WTA in Dubai

WTA Dubai second favorite Sabalenka authoritatively controlled the first set, which she won 6-0.

In the second, the athlete from Belarus led and was tied each time until the tie-break, where she lost three services, and Krejcikova won with a score of 7-2.

The deciding set belonged to the Czech, who is ranked 30th in the world, and won an emphatic 6-1 victory.

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships runs from February 19 to 25 on hard, is part of the “WTA 1000” category and has a total prize pool of $2,788,468. Simona Halep won the tournament in 2015 and 2020, and the last edition went to Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia.
