The series of testimonies at the trial of Rula Pispirigo was opened by Maria Iliopoulou, director of the Karamandaniu hospital, who testified that “when she arrived, Georgina was a wonderful child. There was no sign of opposition.”

The witness testified that she was informed immediately when Georgina arrived at the hospital on April 8, 2021. “When she arrived, the cause of hospitalization was convulsions. The kid was fine. Reported symptoms.”

When asked by the president, the witness stressed that the child had had two brain scans, and they showed nothing.
