Now Spielberg announces from the Berlin International Film Festival – Berlinale that he has not abandoned the project. In fact, he works with the family of the director of the cult science fiction film 2001: A Space Odyssey. “With the participation of Christian Kubrick and Ian Harlan, we are preparing a major production for HBO from Stanley’s original script. The series will consist of seven episodes.
