According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, today, Tuesday, February 21, a batch of humanitarian materials was sent from the port of Patras to the port of Pendik in Istanbul on the vessel Artemis Seaways. The shipment includes 11 containers of more than 110 tons of essential items, which were requested by the Turkish authorities as a matter of priority.
Species have been collected from the municipalities of Peloponnese, Western Greece, Western Macedonia, Central Greece, Thessaly, Crete, the Ionian Islands and many smaller island municipalities under the coordination of the Central Union of Hellenic Municipalities (KEDE) as well as the regions.
