Daniil Medvedev – Yannick Sinner, ATP Rotterdam 2023 Final

After knocking out Stefanos Tsitsipas and Stan Wawrinka en route to the semi-finals, Yannick Sinner (14 ATP) also edged Dutchman Tallon Grikspoor.

It took the Italian an hour and 57 minutes to qualify for the grand final, where Daniil Medvedev (11 ATP) awaits him.

They went head-to-head in the first set at 5-5, and from there Yannick Sinner won his match in two straight games.

The second set was just as tight as the first, requiring a tiebreak to reach a tie. At 59 minutes from the beginning of the second act, the Italian put an end to the game.

The Rotterdam Open will take place from February 13 to 19 on hard, is in the ATP 500 category and has a total prize pool of more than 2 million euros. The title champion is Felix Auger-Aliassime (2022).
