Yesterday afternoon, a Ryanair flight from Stockholm to Thessaloniki landed at the Macedonian airport with a delay of approximately two and a half hours.

In particular, the incident, which required medical attention, forced the aircraft crew to land at the airport in the capital of Poland, Warsaw.

There, after the patient-passenger disembarked and was picked up by an ambulance, he again left for his destination, where, according to Fraport Greece, he arrived at 01:08 after midnight.

The passenger told Voria.gr about the reasons for the forced landing.

“During the flight, a woman jumped up and started screaming. She was upset and asked for help in Greek, constantly repeating “My Virgin Mary, My Virgin Mary.” We were frightened and at first did not understand what had happened. We discovered that the passenger had there was a breakdown, and there were many violations. The crew immediately mobilized and requested medical assistance. There were three doctors on the flight who immediately rushed to the passenger, while there was also a defibrillator. The pilot told us that he would make an emergency landing, “said the passenger of the flight, noting that as a result the plane moved to the nearest airport Gstaad in Poland.
