A death contract for 1.5 million euros – as encrypted conversations showed

Two steps away from the solution double kill in a villa in the area Halikuna Corfu in July 2020 prosecutors in Greece and Serbia. For the needs of the investigation, a group of Serbian police visited the country over the past 24 hours. From the available data, it follows that a death contract for 1.5 million euros is hidden behind the double killer. And also the fact that Alan Kozar and Damir Hadzic, like the names of those killed, became victims of a bloody war between two opposing gangs based in city of Kotor in Montenegro, which has 70 (!) dead throughout Europe. Characteristically, the prosecution authorities of Serbia, Montenegro and two EU member states are awaiting the completion of the investigation conducted by the Homicide Investigation Department in order to shed light on a series of murders that, at least formally, remain unsolved. to this day.

The reason for the brutal killings, which, like the double murder in Corfu and possibly the brutal murder of two Serbs in a tavern on Vlahice in January 2020, is associated with the war between Gangs “Skalyari” and “Kavatsky”. But how did the authorities of Greece and Serbia come to the discovery of the “contract” for Corfu? The secret lies in the “hack” by the European police agency Europol of the SKY encrypted communication application, which was used to communicate between criminals across Europe. Among which are members of two rival gangs.

The digital recordings of the messages were handed over to the Serbian police and then Attica Security. Their contents revealed to prosecutors what preceded the execution of Kozar and Hadzic: more than 30 bullets hit the villa they rented on the beach of Halikuna in Corfu.

The two Balkans, aged 44 and 46, were leading members of the Scaliari gang. They were wanted by members of the rival Kavatsky gang, as well as by the Serbian authorities, and they chose to hide in Greece, namely in Corfu. In addition, Kozar’s love for the sun and the sea was known to both friends and enemies.

Following the victims in the house where they took refuge, and their accomplice, who acted as a “nail” for a rival gang.

Their adversaries assumed or even knew that the two men had taken refuge in Greece, but they managed to find their rented house thanks to and with the help of an accomplice, who, however, without anyone’s knowledge, acted on behalf of and against the command of a rival gang. It was what is colloquially referred to as a “nail”.

In the archive of correspondence and messages exchanged via SKY by members of the Kavatsky gang (published by the Serbian investigative journalism group KRIK), there are photographs of the victims being watched in the pool of a luxury villa in Corfu shortly before their execution. There have even been reports in which one of the dead complains that he has trouble sleeping because he was sunburned, and the interlocutor persuades him to smear himself with yogurt.

Processing of the message file also showed that the amount of the death contract was 1.5 million euros, and that the costs were divided between the Kavatsky gang, as well as the long-wanted Serbian cocaine dealer Darko Saric. The latter is known to the Greek investigating authorities. In 2011, the Organized Crime Department of the Greek Police. and the SDOE filed a case against him and 6 other citizens of Serbia and Montenegro for creating a criminal organization and cocaine trafficking.

Laundering of money

“The criminal organization has developed extensive money laundering activities in Montenegro, Germany and Las Vegas, USA. In the process of legalizing criminal proceeds, they also tried to manipulate shares, ”says the materials of the case, which was filed back in 2011. “K” was published.
