right Ukrainian General Staff16 of these missiles were shot down, which is a lower percentage of missiles shot down compared to previous similar bombings that Russia has regularly carried out against Ukraine since last October.

Ukrainian air defense shot down 8 Kalibr missiles in the south, which were launched from a Russian ship in the Black Sea. Other rockets hit the north and west of Ukraine, as well as the central regions of Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions.

The Kremenchug oil refinery, about 200 kilometers southeast of the capital Kyiv, was also damaged, but Ukrainian authorities did not provide details on the extent of the damage.

However, Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy and the grid operator signaled that, unlike what happened after previous Russian raids, this time Thursday morning’s raid did not cause serious disruptions in the supply of electricity.
