Anette Kontaveit will not participate in the WTA Doha and WTA Dubai tournaments in 2023

Medical problems are causing a headache for Estonian Anette Kontaveit (27 WTA), and the athlete announced that she will not participate in two important tournaments in the next period.

“I felt a pain in my back, a pain I have been struggling with since last October.

I decided to take a break for a few weeks, which means that I will not participate in the tournaments in Doha and Dubai.

I am working with my team to resolve this issue and hope to be ready for the tournament in Miami in March.” – wrote the former winner of 2nd place on Instagram.
