China is preparing to shoot down an unidentified object flying in its airspace, and Canada is searching for a cylindrical flying object on the ground that was shot down with the help of the American Air Force, DPA and Reuters reports. Sunday, quoted by Agerpres.
As reported by the Chinese publication Global Times, a mysterious flying object was spotted near the coast of the city of Zhizhao in Shandong province, located between the cities of Beijing and Shanghai. Fishermen in the area were warned to be careful.
The incident comes after the United States shot down a Chinese balloon a week ago, which Washington says was being used by China for espionage and which Beijing says was a weather balloon drifting in the wind.
Another mysterious object, this time cylindrical in shape, was shot down over Canada on Saturday by an American F-22 fighter jet as part of a joint operation between the US and Canadian Air Forces.
The last Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, announced that a search operation is underway to locate the object and analyze it. “We still need to learn a lot about him. Therefore, the analysis of this object will be very important,” said the Prime Minister of Canada on Sunday.
