
Apollo Limassol, the reigning champions of Cyprus, announced on Saturday that Bohdan Andone has become the team’s new head coach.

At the age of 48, Andone signed a contract until the end of the season with an option to extend for another year.
Andone played for Apollo from 2003-2008, he even captained the team and won the title in the 2005/06 season and the Super Bowl in 2006.
Bohdan Andone also coached FC Olympia Satu Mare, Polytechnic Timisoara, Metaloglobus Bucharest, Viitorul Panduri Tirgu Giu, FCSB, Astra Giurgiu and FC Voluntari.
