The Turkish Embassy in Bucharest is calling for donations of winter tents, radiators, blankets and generators. Turkish officials thank the Romanian teams that intervened in the affected provinces and have so far rescued five people from the rubble.

“Thank you to the Romanian rescue team for their continuous efforts! Every saved life makes us extremely happy and gives us hope for the future,” representatives of the Turkish Embassy in Bucharest said on Friday.

They also thanked those who helped the victims and made donations.

“Thank you for your support of our relief campaign. We would especially appreciate it if, starting today, from the list previously provided, the following will be the priority for assistance.

– Winter tents

– Radiators

– Beds

– Generators,” the officials also sent.

So far, five people have been rescued by Romanian rescue teams working in ten provinces affected by Monday’s earthquake, News.ro reports.

In Turkey and Syria, the death toll has exceeded 22,700, and thousands of people are still missing.
