Rogov said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are shelling the city with heavy artillery and rocket salvo systems. According to him, “fragments of downed missiles” hit private residential buildings.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, reported on Telegram on Friday that the southern city was shaking due to loud explosions.
