FC U Craiova 1948, a thrilling victory in Giulesti

Nicolo Napoli’s side sprung a surprise in Giulietta to hand Rapid their first defeat of the Super League season.

Juan Bauza opened the scoring after just 44 seconds with a header. This is the fastest goal in this league season.

In the second half, Yasin Bahassa doubled the advantage of the guests by passing to Radu Negro.

Paul Jakob closed the gap (87th minute) for Giulesti, but it was not enough to prevent Adi Mutu’s team from avoiding defeat.

Thanks to this victory, FC Kraiova 1948 moved only 3 points closer to the first place in the playoffs, which is held by Sepsi OSK.
