
Several problems have been caused bad weather barbarian throughout Greece.
According to her Fire Departmentfrom last Sunday to today at 18:00, the operations center received 310 calls.
Most of the calls involved removing people from stationary vehicles to safety, towing vehicles, cutting down trees, and transporting patients with kidney disease to hospitals.
– In the Attica region, the intervention of firefighters was required in 134 cases. In particular, the fire department transported 29 people to safe places, cut down 31 trees, removed 4 objects and delivered 70 people to medical institutions.
– In the region of Central Macedonia (Thessaloniki), firefighters were called to intervene on 33 occasions: in particular, on 28 occasions to cut down trees, on 4 occasions to remove objects, and on one occasion to transport a kidney patient to the hospital.
– In the region of Central Greece (Evia, Boeotia), the fire brigade intervened in 123 cases. In particular, in 89 tree cuttings, 17 transportation of people to first-aid posts and 17 evacuations of people to safe places.
