Nikolay Konstantin announced his resignation

At the end of the game, coach Nikolae Konstantin announced his resignation from the technical bench of Petrol, believing that he could not continue this job.

“Humiliations. I think this is a phase of humiliations and we were part of it. It’s hard for me to find the words. I’m the main culprit. It’s time to end the cycle at Petrolul.

I feel like I can’t take it anymore, I’ve also spoken to management and I think it’s time to stop. This is what I told the management. They told me to take my time, but this is my decision.

I think all is not lost and I think someone else could continue my year and a half of work. I feel like I can’t continue this job,” Nae Konstantin said, according to Digisport.

Petrolul Ploiesti is in 8th place in the Superliga standings, having collected 30 points after 24 stages.
