
A few days after the end of the year since then murder of Alkis Campanos and after a week-long break, the trial of 12 accused of murdering a 19-year-old student in the Harilaou region continues today in the Mixed Jury Court in Thessaloniki.
At today’s 5th court session, Alka’s friends who were present at the “blind” fan attack on February 1, 2022, are expected to testify as witnesses. So far, four of the 26 witnesses for the prosecution have been interrogated, among which the parents and sister of a 19-year-old teenager, as well as his a close friend, an eyewitness and the victim of a bloody episode.
The latter, during his many hours of interrogation, which ended the previous meeting, speaking of the perpetrators, said that “they were cold, like murderers.” “They came to kill, quietly do what they did, and leave […] They came with scythes, sticks and knives. […] I froze when I saw the scythe […] They only stopped when some people went upstairs, otherwise I would have been dead too, ”the witness said, among other things.
