The Hellenic Banking Union is clarifying in today’s announcement that a large number of bank branches may not be able to conduct transactions for the public, depending on the prevailing conditions, on Monday 02.06.2023 February 2023, especially in areas subject to special weather conditions (among them the sector of Attica and the regional unit of Boeotia).
Therefore, as stated in the EET announcement, traders are advised to:
a) limit their visits to stores as much as possible and
b) before going to them, there must be a preliminary telephone connection with a particular store.
Other banking operations and electronic payments, as well as the necessary settlement of transactions, will be carried out as usual.
