In addition, from noon, the movement of all types of heavy vehicles with a maximum authorized mass of more than 3.5 tons is prohibited, regardless of the use of snow chains, on the following roads:
- In both NEO Athens-Lamia traffic flows, in the section from the height of A / K Kaliftakis to the height of 57,300 m / s (borders of the province of Attica).
- Along the entire length of Attica Road, Imittos Regional Avenue West and Agaleo Regional Avenue, as well as on the side road network.
- In both traffic flows PEO Elefsinas-Thebes from 5000 m/t (REVOIL gas station – formerly CYCLON) to the border of the Attica prefecture with the prefecture of Voiotia (m/t 30,000).
Finally, from 6 am on Sunday, the movement of all vehicles, regardless of the use of anti-skid chains, will be prohibited on Parnithos Avenue from the height of the cable car in both traffic flows.
“Drivers of these vehicles are asked to refrain from driving on the above sections of roads so as not to cause them inconvenience and not create additional problems with traffic, and also follow the instructions of the traffic controllers,” the corresponding message says.
