
They were arrested in front of a car by police officers of the Athens Security Subdivision of the Attica Security Directorate on the afternoon of Thursday (02.02.2023) in the area of the city. Kallitheathree citizens (27, 35 and 38 years old) – depending on the circumstances – for creating a gang, distinguished cases of embezzlement for complicity, disloyalty and violation of the law on weapons and narcotic substances.
After they received a signal that a stolen motorcycle was being handed over by three people to a warehouse in the Kallithea area, the DI.AS. Team located the accused, called them in for a check, and they tried to avoid him.
Subsequently, the above-mentioned persons were detained and taken to the Athens sub-directorate of security, which was entrusted with a preliminary investigation.
As a result of searches of the above warehouse and the houses of gang members, the following were found and seized:
- a motorcycle that was stolen from the area of Agios Dimitrios shortly before they were found,
- a range of parts, spare parts and keys for two-wheeled vehicles,
- license plates and documents of other two-wheeled vehicles,
- 99 grams hemp,
- electronic precision scale,
- ammo,
- Pepper spray,
- 2 iron fists
- 2-fold rods (glop) and
- amount of money.
The detainees have been brought before the Athens District Attorney, and investigations into their involvement in other cases are ongoing.
