Titled Victory City, author Salman Rushdie’s latest book comes out six months after the bloody attack on him. The new book will complement the author’s 12 works, seven of which were shortlisted for the Booker Prize, more than any other author.

Stephen King strikes again

The King of Horror is back with a new book from Hodder & Stoughton called Holly, due out in September. The book brings back to the world of King Holly Gibney, one of his most famous heroines (Mr. Mercedes, The Guardian Seekers, The Outsider), who, already a mature detective, will discover the horrific truth hidden from a series of multiple disappearances. “I couldn’t just let go of Holly Gibney. He was supposed to be a recurring character in Mr. Mercedes and kind of stole the book and my heart,” King said.
