
Police have made four arrests in connection with a bloody incident yesterday afternoon at a barbershop near Antigonidon Square in the city centre. Thessaloniki.
As for those arrested, this is a 20-year-old Greek, a 24-year-old Pakistani, the owner of a hairdresser, as well as two of the latter’s compatriots, 29 and 40 years old, who are brothers.
According to EL.AS, a 20-year-old man, hiding his facial features, entered the store and, threatening with a knife, demanded money from the 24-year-old owner.
When the latter reacted, a fight allegedly broke out between them, as a result of which the unfortunate robber was wounded in the arm and taken to the hospital, where he is under guard.
Meanwhile, while the episode was running, the owner of the barbershop alerted two of his compatriots who rushed to the scene to help him.
Police officers arrived in the area and detained a 20-year-old teenager, and the arrest of three foreigners was requested by order of the prosecutor. The former was charged with attempted robbery, while the others were charged with serious bodily harm in a separate case.
