Priscilla Presley challenged in court a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie’s will that removed Priscilla as administrator of Elvis’ daughter’s estate.

Lisa Marie Presley, the couple’s only child, died at the age of 54 on January 12 of cardiac arrest.

Priscilla’s lawyers argue that in the contested amendment, Lisa Marie would misspell her mother’s name and have a signature that appears unusual.

In a motion filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Priscilla Presley’s attorneys said she learned of the “anticipated 2016 amendment” only after her daughter’s death.

The contested amendment removes her mother and her former business manager Barry Siegel as joint guardians and replaces them with her children, Riley and Benjamin Keough.

Benjamin Keough was 27 years old when he committed suicide in 2020.

Riley Keough is a famous actress who starred in the 2020 film The Devil All the Time and the Amazon series The Terminal List.

Riley Keough has two other twin sisters, but they are minors.

Priscilla’s lawyers also claim that the will was changed without witnesses and was also not legalized.

The lawsuit was filed 10 days after Lisa Marie Presley was buried next to her father and son at Graceland.
