OUR Weather The next 7 days are characterized by three distinct forecast phases, according to the latest analysis of forecast data from the National Observatory of Athens/meteo.gr.
The first phase covers the period from Monday 30 January until noon the following Wednesday. These days will be characterized slight drop in temperature, local rains in the lowlands and light snowfalls in the highlands and semi-mountains parts of the southern mainland.
The second phase (which, like the first, has low predictive uncertainty for the period from Wednesday noon to Friday noon) will be characterized by an increase in temperature and no events in Greece.
Finally, the third phase, characterized by high predictive uncertainty, concerns the time period from noon on Friday 03 February to the evening hours of Monday 06 February.
It is expected that this period will be characterized by a decrease in temperature and on Friday precipitation in the lowlands and snowfalls in the mountainous and semi-mountainous regions.
However, how severe the temperature drop will be over the 04-05/02 weekend remains highly uncertain.
