“Tonight, a call to number 112 sent our colleagues from the mobile group of the Brasov gendarmerie on a task that is different from the daily ones. A deer that got lost and got stuck in a factory yard needed help. Arriving at the scene and approaching her, our colleagues discovered that she was wounded in one leg,” the Romanian gendarmerie said on Sunday evening.
The cited source specified that the gendarmes asked for support from representatives of the Association of the Directorate of Monitoring and Protection of Animals and the Institute of Forestry.
“After joint work, it was possible to calm down the deer and treat its wound,” the gendarmes reported.
They said that after making sure the animal was fine and recovered, they released the deer closer to the forest, into its natural habitat.
