
On Saturday afternoon, a 38-year-old Albanian man accused of for the premeditated murder of a 47-year-old Greek American on Friday morning (20.01) along with his 22-year-old compatriot, who was taken into custody after an apology last Wednesday.
The 38-year-old man who is said to have shot the victim was identified by authorities last Saturday and arrested last Wednesday (January 25) in a rented underground facility in Akrogiali, West Mani municipality, following a police operation by the Kalamata Narcotics Prosecution Office along with 34 -year-old citizen of Bulgaria, who rented a house.
Some hashish was also found in their possession, but the weapon with which the murder was committed was not found, and the accused told the police that he had thrown it into the sea. Today, the 34-year-old Bulgarian, who is accused of both supporting a criminal and a felony of drug possession and trafficking, is also expected to be acquitted.
