An incredible traffic accident occurred in Fre in the municipality of Apokorono in Chaniawith a car “hanging” on a tree and requiring the intervention of the fire department to extract a 72-year-old woman.

The accident occurred when, under unspecified circumstances, a car driven by a 72-year-old woman went astray and was found with the bumper lying on the ground in an upright position on a tree, causing it to get stuck.

Thanks to the intervention of six firefighters from Vrayson station, who arrived in three vehicles, the woman was released and taken to a Chania hospital with minor injuries, mostly as a precaution, according to ERT.
