
Two 24-year-old women from Brazil were arrested on Thursday evening in El. Venizelos with more than 13 kilograms of cocaine for violating the law on addictive substances.
As part of targeted checks to prevent the importation of narcotic substances into Greece from South American countries, the Police Department for Combating Narcotics identified and detained two young women who arrived in Greece by plane from Brazil.
In the luggage of the defendants, a hidden amount of cocaine was found in improvised packages, with a total weight of 13,600 grams, which were seized.
Two mobile phones and a sum of money were also seized.
Two 24-year-old women were taken to the criminal prosecutor of Athens.
