A 13-year-old boy was attacked by six dogs on Tuesday while he was riding a moped in the Kontesti commune, Teleorman district, and managed to hide in a yard. The father took the child to the hospital, the man was stopped by the police because he was speeding. After finding out the reason, the police ensured their safe delivery to the hospital.

The incident happened on Tuesday, when a 13-year-old child from the city of Bucharest, who was staying with his grandparents in the commune of Conceşti, Teleorman county, while riding a moped on the outskirts of the commune, was allegedly attacked. 6 public dogs, which later managed to hide in a person’s yard, News.ro reports.

The child was injured and was taken by the father to a medical facility for medical treatment.

“The father of a minor, driving through the city of Alexandria with a car with an activated malfunction alarm and at speed, was stopped by a police crew of the Alexandria Police Department. After talking with the minor’s father and assessing the dangerous situation in which the minor was, they ensured a safe transfer to the medical unit,” the Teleorman district police said.

Later, the child was transferred to the medical unit of the city of Bucharest for medical assistance.

Due to the failure of the owner or temporary keeper to take measures to prevent a dog from attacking a person, criminal proceedings have been opened and a decision will be submitted through the relevant prosecutor’s office.
